Suture Line Ulcer Combined with Jejunal Ulcer after Gastrojejunostomy

Abstract

|
It has been known that the use of non-absorbable suture material in gastric surgery may lead to suture line ulcer, but many surgeons continue to use non-absorbable suture.
Reports describing the occurrence of suture Iine ¢¥ulcer ¢¥reveal 18 cases, but no report in Korea.
Suture line ulcer is a preventable Iesion, and can be treated by reoperation with excision of the entire suture line and reconstitution using catgut.
A case of suture line ulcer combined with jejunal ulcer and it¢¥s review of the literature are presented.
